inaugural F.O.c.u.s Golf Scramble
F.O.C.U.S Training Academy and Student-Athlete Enrichment Center Is pleased to
announce our Inaugural F.O.C.U.S Golf Scramble to be held at Hunting Creek
Country Club on September 30, 2019. The purpose of our scramble is to raise funds
for our Academy and Student-Athlete Enrichment Center. Our goal is to provide a
safe and positive atmosphere for young men and women to not only learn the game of
basketball but, holistically, to learn the game of life.
The Student-Athlete Enrichment Center will provide:
Academic Support
Accountability and Expectations based on individualized success
Personal and Professional Development Seminars
ACT/SAT Instruction
Book Fairs
College Fairs
College access programming
Tutoring
Reading program
Mentoring/Networking
Reading and Literacy classes
Etiquette
Social Justice Awareness
Positive Self-Worth Classes
Financing
How to handle social media
Public Speaking
Branding
The tournament will begin with a 1pm shotgun start and conclude with an awards
ceremony. Your involvement is very crucial to us conducting a successful event and a
successful event will be evident through support of the enrichment center.
The fundraising goal is $150,000, with ALL PROCEEDS going to our Academy and
